The Gobi Desert and the Altai Mountain
A vast region of desert, semi-desert and mountains covers western and soutern Mongolia and parts of northern and northwestern Inner Mongolia. Wind from the Siberian Steppes caused the area tp reach -46℃(-50.8 ℉) in winter. The climate of the area is one of the extreme weather conditions in the world.
Mongolian herders are deeply rooted to their ancient tradition and culture. They love the land and protect it with knowledge of how to balance the number of animals and the environmental affordability.
We always respect the tradition and culture, and conform to environment protection rules when working with the herders in different parts of the Gobi and Altai region.
Our Cashmere
Due to the geographic location and severe climate condition, the Gobi goats produce cashmere, which is globally known as the finest(14.0-16.5 microns in diameter), longest(length over 36.0mm) and softest one in the world. Cashmere fibers in off-white, beige and warm grey are the naturally occurring colors of the goats that live in the Gobi desert and Altai Mountain. Each color comes from the animals with different shades. They are the most valuable colors as they are un-dyed and environment-friendly. We have the natural colors on our spinning lines along with other colors as they are un-dyed and environment-friendly. We have the natural colors on our spinning lines along with other colors, which were dyed with environment-firendly chemicals from famous plants in Germany and Swiss.
